About Singapore Chinese Heritage Studies and the Hok Tek Chi Loke Yah Teng Series
The Hok Tek Chi Loke Yah Teng Series is Chinese Heritage Centre ’s pioneering effort in preserving the records of Singapore ’s Chinese associations, organisations and institutions through the Singapore Chinese Heritage Studies Programme. Hok Tek Chi Loke Yah Teng is a fitting case study with its 180 years of history and its preservation of documents such as minutes of meetings and accounting records. These primary sources are reproduced in this series to provide greater accessibility for schola r as well as general researchers .
